When the application is first launched a Wizard window will open, which will guide the user through the telephone configuration process. In the first step it is necessary to select a recording device, to which the microphone is connected. For this purpose, plug in headphones and the microphone, select relevant device and press Microphone test button. If you can hear your voice, click Next and proceed to the next tab. If the Next button is disabled, this means that you will have to speak something loudly to the microphone, so as to clearly hear yourself.

If the microphone is not working, click on the loudspeaker icon on the system tray (lower right corner of the screen).

Then choose Audio properties settings.

In the Voice tab check all available recording devices. Use the Device test option to verify microphone correct operation, before the Wizard is launched. Please note that there may be many recording equipment, e.g. an external microphone, a built-in microphone or a mixer device. From among the available devices select the external microphone, as it will ensure the best quality. The built-in microphone picks up to much background noise and the mixer will also contribute noise.
